He doesn't care where that trail goes.
Beat the dogwoods to the season, but just barely.
I was the only one on this trail. It's how I like it. I want more people to use the trails, I just don't want to see them do it. I want to feel like the forest is mine. I want to be John Muir, escaped from the horrors of civilization into the wild green Eden of the woods.
Stop looking. Nobody is there.
What makes a sign carved in wood better than an interactive arrow on my phone?
I know the right ranger could explain one; the other is owned by a man in a cubicle.
I'm out of shape. Hiking brings me to a place where I can be in the now. Thinking about hiking brings me to a place where I want to quote Taking Back Sunday lyrics. I'd rather just think about hiking.
Yeah, that's a satellite dish.
Back to the hike.

That dog would jump off a cliff with me, and be offended I went first.
Anyhow, I'm getting back into it.
It's a high mountain to climb, but the views are worth it.
